FARMERS interested in producing free range milk attended a meeting yesterday, Tuesday, at the Whitminster Inn to find out more about the Free Range Dairy Network.

The initiative, a Community Interest Company, was set up by former Marling School student Neil Darwent, who won the 2014 BBC Outstanding Farmer of the Year Award.

Neil is seeking farmers and processors who want to create new brands for dairy from free-range herds and who want to add value to existing brands with the Pasture Promise label providing assurance about healthy milk.
