A COMPANY that distributes inflatable boats is partnering with a powersports manufacturing firm.
The Coaley-based Osprey RIBs has come together with Bombardier Recreational Products to fit a new outboard engine on its product list.
A rigid-inflatable boat (RIB) is a lightweight but high-performance and high-capacity boat constructed with a solid hull.
Chris Stevens, director, Osprey RIBs, said: “As a long term Evinrude supplier, Osprey is delighted to be able to offer BRP’s Evinrude E-TEC G2 with our range of RIBs.
“The G2’s innovation together with the renowned performance of the Osprey hull is going to make a formidable combination and will deliver an outstanding package for our customers.”
BRP representative Mike Loach added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Osprey RIBs.”
The move will allow the business to enhance its engine offering for its vessels targeted at recreational and commercial users.
