Garden centres launch hunt for the county's best sheds

FOUR Gloucestershire garden centres are hoping to hear from proud shed owners when they launch a countywide competition next month.

Wyevale Garden Centres in Nailsworth and Brockworth, and Blooms Garden Centres in Cheltenham and Gloucester are teaming up to host a Shed Weekend on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, to coincide with National Shed Week starting on July 6.

Customers are encouraged to enter the contest by bringing in a photograph of their prized garden sheds.

All entries will go on display from Saturday, July 11 – Sunday, July 19, and staff from each centre will select their favourites on Monday, July 20.

The winning entrants will each win a solar shed light worth £19.99 donated by Luxform. Anyone entering the competition is asked to write their name, address and contact number on the back of their photograph before handing it in at one of the centres anytime until 4pm on July 19.
