PINFARTHINGS, Amberley held a Sport Relief Mile challenge on Saturday.
Participants were invited to walk, run or even lunge for a mile to support the charity.
The route started at the school and headed south to Pinfarthings before heading back to the school and around 30 members of the public - along with six dogs - took part.
Among those contributing to the fundraising effort was sports therapist JJ Cook of the Personal Best Studio. He lunged his way around the course in a time of 48 times, while Gareth Neale, who finished the mile first, ran back to support JJ and lunged the rest of the course with him.
A small group of supporters carried water and provided encouragement along the route.
JJ raised a total of £1,000 while the village of Amberley raised £140.50, bringing the grand total of £1,140.50 for Sport Relief.
