VICTIM Support in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire are bringing together our staff and volunteers for a summer conference, to celebrate 40 years of services to victims and witnesses.
This will take place at the Swindon Town Football Club conference rooms on Friday, July 11 between 10.30am - 3.30pm.
The day will include guest speakers and specialists talking about themes such as the work of the Crown Prosecution Service, the impact of domestic abuse, and also the emerging field of cyber crime.
Our new Chief Executive Mark Castle will talk about the future for victim services and will present milestone awards for volunteers who have given years of help and support.
Crime can have a devastating impact and each year Victim Support deals with over a million people who have been affected by crime.
The charity has over 6,000 volunteers who help people affected by crime in their communities across England and Wales.
