THREE lucky youngsters are the proud possessors of brand new painting sets as the winners of the Bunny Colouring Competition at the recent Pimms and Paws fundraiser for the RSPCA South Cotswolds.

Four year old Elenya Muller and eight year old Matthew Tye and Kim Craine all won the top prize for the best colouring in of the rabbit pictures.

The event which was organised by Lyndsey and Dave Barnett raised nearly £200 for the RSPCA South Cotswolds.

Lyndsey and Dave who are foster carers for a number of rabbits and guinea pigs for the charity wanted to raise awareness of what keeping small animals involves and the event also gave people the chance to look at some of the animals currently needing homes - as well as the opportunity to meet the Giant Rabbits Daphne and Rodney.

RSPCA South Cotswolds Chair, Carolyn Blackburn said: "We are so grateful to Lyndsey and Dave for organising such a fun day. Everyone had a great time and the money raised will help us to continue our work with the hundreds of abandoned, abused and neglected animals that we assist each year."
