AT THEIR October meeting Stroud Conservative Women's Luncheon Club enjoyed a very interesting talk and film show, entitled 'A Dorset Boy' by John Selby.
John recalled his boyhood experiences during the 1940s in and around Corfe Castle.
He had many wonderful photographs to illustrate his talk, and it had many reminiscing their wartime memories.
The Club meets on the second Thursday of each month in Stroud, and new members are always warmly welcomed.
