SOUTH COTSWOLD RAMBLERS
ICE CREAM WALK (11913029)
LAST November members of South Cotswold Ramblers began a long distance walk of about 80 miles commencing at Winstones ice cream factory on Rodborough Common and finishing at Uphill near Weston Super Mare.
The walk was completed in monthly stages, one of the objects being to have an ice cream on every stage.
Last week 12 members of the group achieved the main objective and can be seen here at Uphill Marina with their ice creams.
The walk was devised by members of the group and followed the Macmillan Way, the Limestone Link and the West Mendip Way.
