IT'S about raising awareness of prostate and testicular cancer too. Cobalt’s Cancer Prevention Team is using this campaign to give key messages to men in the workplace.
We all know that staying fit and healthy is important, and we usually know when there are unusual changes to our bodies, changes that could become life-threatening if left. We have teamed up with a local male GP to increase awareness of key symptoms and promote the benefits of seeing a doctor as soon as possible.
The good news is that the earlier a cancer is diagnosed, the greater the: treatment choices/chance the treatment will be successful
If you are interested in a men’s health/cancer awareness presentation (it does not have to be in November we provide talks throughout the year) do not hesitate to contact me sue.white@cobalthealth.co.uk.
The talks are informal, fun and informative. They are free, take approximately 1hr and can be booked to fit in with work commitments. For more information call us on 01242 535905 or visit our website www.cobalthealth.co.uk. to see the symptoms that men need to get checked.
