AN AUDIENCE of fifty people enjoyed a show of 24 short films at the Standish Parish Church presented by the Stonehouse & Stroud Video Unit on Saturday, November 15.
The films came from all over the world, from Stonehouse to Australia, with a good sprinkling of comedies.
Arrangement and projection was by Lee Prescott assisted by Mike Szewczuk.
Light refreshments were served at the half time interval.
The Vicar, the Rev Richard Amys, wound up the meeting by thanking all concerned.
All monies raised will go to the church, which is now 752 years old.
The Stonehouse & Stroud Video Unit would like to offer to put on this show to any other charitable organisation wishing to raise funds.
Tel: Stroud 823802 or 751686.
Anyone wishing to join the unit should ring the same numbers.
