There are lots of festive events and activities going on in Gloucestershire libraries this Christmas, plus lots of great books too!
Don’t forget to pop along to your local library to stock up on festive reading material, renew your books or attend one of our fun events. There are lots of free fun activities for all the family from crafts at Up Hatherley and Newent to French toddler time at Hesters Way.
We’ve also got great children’s books to borrow, and for adults we are offering our ‘Reading Passport’ which contains great reading suggestions. Readers are invited to review three books for a chance to win £150 worth of books!
It is free to join the library and you can borrow up to 20 books on each ticket.
Cllr Andrew Gravells, cabinet member for libraries at Gloucestershire County Council, said: “Libraries are a great place for everyone, young and old, to share books and reading plus join in with the many storytimes and events happening during the holidays”
