OUR Ruby Anniversary Year came to a conclusion on Friday, December 12, 2014, when we held our Christmas Open Evening Demonstration at Sibley Hall, Wycliffe College.
Members and friends joined our final celebration to enjoy a glass of wine and mince pie.
We were entertained by Catherine Gledhill (National Demonstrator) who arranged flowers on a grand scale and kept us amused with her humorous stories.
We have certainly had a most enjoyable anniversary year, the highlight being our very successful all day event “Forty Floral Years” which raised £1,000 for charity.
It therefore gave us great satisfaction at our May meeting to present £1,000 to our local charity “Home Start” which does valuable work supporting families with their children through difficult times.
