SAINT James’ Church, Quedgeley, is planning something special for its Easter Service on April 5.

STJ’s the family service will take place as usual at 10.30am.

As well as the normal craft activity the service will combine the family service with the weekly Eucharist.

For those egg hunting enthusiasts there will also be an egg hunt around the church.

The service will conclude with an Easter party consisting of a free buffet lunch.

The service takes place at Saint James’ Church, Quedgeley at 10.30am on Easter Sunday, April 5.

Father John Ward Rector and Parish Priest said ‘The Easter service is a very popular service. This year it falls on the first Sunday of the month, the day we hold our family service, so we have decided to combine the two. There will be something for everyone. I’m sure the morning will be a very busy one but a joyous occasion. I am looking forward to it.’
