ON SUNDAY, April 19, Arthur's 31st Annual Spring Stroll for local medical charity Cobalt will take place in the invigorating countryside around Nailsworth.

This hugely popular challenge, sees many enthusiastic Cobalt supporters, old and new, take part each year.

Starting from charming and historical Egypt Mill at 10am, the walk follows a scenic seven mile route along the cycle path and back, with delicious refreshments provided at the half way point to help revive you as you go.

It's a challenge that's suitable for anyone; the path is flat so is good for wheelchairs, bikes and prams/pushchairs.

Bring the whole family along, dogs are very welcome too and enjoy the lovely Cotswolds backdrop as you raise money for Cobalt.

Cobalt is an independent medical diagnostic imaging charity helping people affected by cancer, dementia and other life-limiting conditions.

Each year the Charity provide scans for over 24,000 patients at the Imaging Centre in Cheltenham and through a fleet of mobile MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanners that travel throughout the Three Counties (Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire) and beyond.

As well as cancer, their equipment is able to assist in the detection of illnesses such as dementia including Alzheimer’s.

All walkers are invited to the Comrades Club, Nailsworth after the stroll for well-deserved drinks and a tasty buffet, so make sure you join in on April 19 in Nailsworth and get strolling for Cobalt.
