THE baton arrived from Frocester WI to Leonard Stanley WI on a bright orange vintage tractor and trailer, decorated with banners, balloons, and various items appertaining to the woollen industry for which the Weavers Group relate to.
The baton was handed over by the President of Frocester to Ann Vale, the President of Leonard Stanley with a large number of members watching and taking photographs to celebrate the 100 years of the WI.
It then made its way to Stonehouse, Randwick and finally Ebley Mill where it was handed to Randwick WI whose President jumped on the back of a motorbike to take it to Nailsworth WI.
