DUE to the outstanding success of their Spanish evening in Gloucester recently, the Cappella Singers have raised £820.00 for the Gloucester branch of Listening Post, the Christian Counselling charity.
A capacity audience enjoyed an evening of Spanish music, entitled ‘España ¡Olé!’, at St Barnabas Hall, Tuffley, in Gloucester where the Cappella Singers were joined by local flamenco group, Suspiro Flamenco.
The flavour of Spain was also provided by a very busy bar selling Spanish wines and beers, and by delicious tapas provided by Stroud’s Star Anise arts café.
Club seating added further to a relaxed atmosphere and a most enjoyable and successful evening.
The Cappella singers are now preparing for their next musical evening, entitled ‘The Merry Month of May’, which will be at Rodborough Tabernacle on Saturday, May 1, 2015.
