ON SATURDAY, April 25, the first Inter Faith event took place in St Lawrence Church, Stroud, since the 11th century.
The evening began with Cantible Consort, Christian devotional band who sang from a very early Christian tradition.
This was followed by a nine piece local band, Raga Babas who represent world fusion devotional music and the church was rocked with dancing and singing.
The age group from a few months old to 70 plus and a whole mix of faiths and traditions were there.
Very generous donations were collected for the Sacred Music Festival to take place on Saturday, July 4, in the same venue.
