Nailsworth & District Flower Arrangement Society
OUR scheduled demonstrator for the June meeting Alwyn Page was unfortunately unable to attend.
Margaret Walker an area demonstrator from Charlton Kings stepped into the breach with her demonstration ‘My World of Colour’.
After each one of her arrangements Margaret entertained the audience with a poem from a collection entitled ‘Shades of Colour’.
Her first five arrangements were in mono colours of white, yellow, orange, red and pink expertly arranged in simple containers with complimenting colours and textures of foliage.
For her finale Margaret completely changed her theme by creating a wonderful all round arrangement, in a myriad of different colours.
There were a number of competition entries.
Jo Mason won the cup for the month.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, July 1 at 7.30 pm in Nailsworth Town Hall when Beryl Griffiths will be demonstrating ‘The Pleasure is Mine’.
New members and visitors are always welcome.
