Trio of open gardens for local medical charity Cobalt

A TRIO of Cobalt supporters are opening their fragrant and delightful Stroud gardens on Saturday, July 11.

The gardens, which are within one and a half miles of one another, are examples of how to make something spectacular from a medium sized plot in a semi urban area.

Badgers Drift and Fishers Way have been awarded Silver Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust Wildlife Garden status and have a wide variety of plants, shrubs and trees, enjoyed by an impressively diverse range of birds and other wildlife.

The Fishers Way garden is impressive in its effective use of available planting space, Iona has a wonderful collection of Hosta's and a delightful cutting garden and Badger's Drift has separate planting areas and a fernery.

There will be delicious afternoon teas, an exciting raffle and plants for sale at Badger's Drift (plants also for sale at Iona).

Admission costs £6.00 per adult (single price for access to all gardens) under 16s free.

Guide dogs only please.

The gardens have access steps and are not suitable for wheelchairs. (12-6pm)
