AT OUR recent AGM we reported over 2,000 films with a Stroud-connection are now on the Stroud Community TV website.
Our viewing statistics software notes over 3,000 views per month, we have 240 Facebook likes, 80+ newsletter subscribers and 653 Twitter followers.
As regular followers will know, we upload over 50 films each month; last month for example, we had films about the Five Valleys Music Centre, the Toxin Free Tea Party against the incinerator, launch of the Compassionate Revolution in Stroud, a film by a group of people with a learning disability, updates on the canal, Forest Green Rovers plus loads of great music including Casimir Greenfield’s new release.
We are growing the site slowly - we hugely welcome feedback on how to make the site better.
One comment this month was: "I just want to say what a brilliant initiative this is. I have subscribed to your news for a few years now and always appreciate the content. I can see what’s going on in the area without having to go to everything!"
We would also welcome more support in the running of Stroud Community TV; whether that be making films or helping manage our website.
