Rodborough Tabernacle United Reformed Church
ON SATURDAY, July 11, between 3 and 5pm, cream teas were served on the Manse lawn of Rodborough Tabernacle United Reformed Church.
The weather stayed fair and the gazebos were needed to shade everyone from the welcome sunshine.
Gill and her helpers soon served everyone with delicious scones and cream and welcome tea.
Diana had a cake and plant stall, Peter and Mary had little games and had devised a guessing game, Mary making numbered bags 1-16 of different objects with everyone examining them avidly whilst eating and drinking.
Brian was in charge of the golf game which was won by Adam and Olivia and Glenis, Eric and John ran a tombola. Peter and Albert ran a book stall, the proceeds being used for postage for Agnes and her band of knitters who send wonderful garments to a school in South Africa.
It was lovely to see everyone, old and new friends, enjoying the lovely views and fellowship which resulted in £287 being raised for Church Funds.
