STROUD Country Show saw pink this year with Tesco ladies raising money through raffle prizes donated by Tesco and local companies, over £250 was collected.

Lorraine Slatter, group leader for Race 4 Life organised the event, which also included 30 ladies from night and day shifts taking part in Cheltenham Pretty Muddy race and last weekend at Cirencester Park, Teresa Cox and Sharon Scrivens entered both the 10km and 5km.

After completing two tombola store days donated by Tesco store - thanks to Store Manager, Martin Rose; Lorraine; Sharon; Jacqui Beard; Emily-Jane Scrivens and Matt Day - an additional £659 was raised (still awaiting sponsor form donations).

Tesco staff, Beth Davis, Freya Abbott and Jacqui Beard gave the Show's visitors tasters with their In Store Bakery range of Bread of the World and best selling line the 'tiger loaf' accompanied by cheese and olives that can be found at the deli.

£28 was raised and given to Stroud Show charity, Cobalt unit.
