ON THE afternoon of Wednesday, August 12, Southfield Care Home (Order of Saint John Trust) had a fantastic afternoon when Animal-Mania visited them.
John, the animal keeper, brought in snakes, rabbits, a chinchilla, a tortoise and a baby meerkat.
John went around all the residents to let them stroke them, a couple of the residents even had the snake around their neck!
Anne-Marie Damsell, activities co-ordinator at Southfield, put on afternoon tea and a raffle to raise money towards the cost of Animal-Mania.
Thank you to everybody who made this day special.
