Beeches Green Friendship Circle
OUR June meeting was a trip to the Rococo Gardens and we were fortunate to have lovely weather for this event.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and it was very nice to be out and about.
The July meeting was a talk entitled ‘Oh yes I Remember it Well’ by Mrs Marshfield.
The talk focused on events in our lifetime and reflected on the memories of what we were doing when we heard the news.
The Assassination of President Kennedy, events concerning the Royal family, 9/11 etc, we could all remember well what we were doing on that day.
The talk was very interesting and our speaker made it thought provoking and entertaining.
There is no meeting in August and we will meet again on Tuesday, September 15.
This meeting will be a trip to Westonbirt Arboretum.
We will leave Beeches Green Church Hall at 12 noon and return at 4pm.
We still have some spare seats on the coach.
