Stroud and District Philatelic Society
THE Stroud and District Philatelic Society resumes activities after its summer break on Wednesday, September 2, at our usual venue St Joseph’s Catholic Church Hall, Oldends Lane, Stonehouse.
This first meeting gives members the opportunity to entertain with stamp items obtained during the break.
The society meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month from September to May.
During this time we are entertained by visiting speakers who show their collecting specialities.
There are many members evenings when we show parts of our collections.
There is also a stamp quiz and Christmas meal.
Plenty to entertain and educate.
So why not kick Wednesday night football into touch and join us in the enjoyment of the wonderful world of stamp.
Those returning to and new to the hobby are particularly welcome.
