GFirst LEP fourth Annual Report

FOCUSING the spotlight on the £77.5 million brought into the county through the Gloucestershire Growth Deal, the GFirst LEP Annual Report is available for download today.

The report showcases the achievements and projects brought to the county through the work of the LEP over the last twelve months, together with public, private and voluntary sector partners.

GFirst LEP is the strategic lead for a number of innovative projects that have been delivered in the county since Local Enterprise Partnerships were created in 2011 - and this year has been no exception.

As a result of the money allocated in the Gloucestershire Growth Deal, Gloucestershire has seen many projects get off the ground; whilst promoting the county as a great place to do business, to gain world-class education, as well as offering key skills and infrastructure, that all contribute towards growing the local economy.

David Owen, Chief Executive of GFirst LEP, explains: “Throughout the past year we have continued to work with partners to align public, private and voluntary sector working, ensuring our businesses in Gloucestershire have a strong voice in the decisions and planning of public investment. We are looking forward to working with more of Gloucestershire’s businesses over the coming year in order to gain further innovative ideas towards growing our successful county.”
