STAGECOACH West are inviting talented singers from the local community to get in touch if they’d like to perform on board one of the region’s buses within Stroud in a bid to showcase their talent to a new audience and keep passengers entertained during their daily commute.

Local bus operator, Stagecoach West, are offering talented singers the chance to shine aboard their buses!

The company is constantly looking for ways to freshen up the service they provide to passengers, now announcing their plans to showcase acoustic performances on the upper decks of their double-deckers from October onwards.

Stroud is known for having great, hidden talents and the company wants to embrace this, giving performers and artists a voice and an audience that they may not usually have access to.

Local artists can put themselves forward to perform acoustically on one of the local buses by emailing the team at west.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com

Rupert Cox, Managing Director for Stagecoach West for, commented:

“We know that we have a lot of great talent within Stroud, but many of us go about our daily lives without the chance to tap into it and enjoy what we have to offer. All it takes is one person to upload a video to YouTube, or the right person to be on the bus at the right time, for local artists to be spotted and to be able to make a name for themselves. We’re excited to hear from those who are interested in performing and are looking forward to providing some home-grown entertainment for our passengers.”
