Nailsworth & District Flower Arrangement Society
ON WEDNESDAY, November 3, more than 50 members enjoyed our Annual Member's Supper.
The scrumptious meal of cold cooked ham, a variety of quiches and salads accompanied by hot new potatoes and crusty bread and butter followed by a wide selection of puddings, was provided and served by members of the committee.
A glass of wine or fruit cordial accompanied the meal.
Our competition for the evening, 'A Festive Fascinator', was won by Jill Robins, and the Denman Cup for the best flower arrangement competition, 'Time to Sparkle', was won by Elaine Bushby.
After the meal we were entertained by Fiona Warrin with her talk on 'Land Army Girls'.
Our next event will be our Christmas Open Evening at Wycliffe College, GL10 2JQ on Wednesday, December 16.
Doors open at 6.30pm.
Tickets £10 include a glass of wine and mince pie.
