SWR’s £2,000 puts a spring in the step of Refugee Action
STUDENTS from Sir William Romney’s School in Tetbury have raised a total of £2,000 for Refugee Action after taking part in the school’s annual sponsored walk to Shipton Moyne.
Bristol-based Refugee Action is an independent charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers to resettle and build new lives in the UK.
Headteacher Steven Mackay commented: “Charity fundraising efforts by our students and staff are extraordinary and I would like to congratulate everyone who has contributed to this worthy cause.”
