Stroud Shambles WI: January meeting
THE President Gill Jobbins welcomed everyone to the meeting at The Congregational Church, Stroud.
Great interest was shown in organising a skittles team to compete in the 2016 County Skittles Tournament.
Members were also asked to participate in the WI Rose Bowl Competition.
The rest of the meeting was given to NFWI 2016 Resolution Selection and before members gave their vote Gill Jobbins and June Blackmore thoroughly discussed the pros and cons of each item involved.
Many issues were raised and mulled over before members finally gave their vote.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at 10.30am and visitors are always welcome.
