Ooh la,la! Tetbury ‘bouled’ over!
‘THE Great Tetbury Hospital Boules Competition’, held at the end of June at the Royal Oak in Tetbury, was a hugely enjoyable event enjoyed by the competitors and many spectators.
Ten local teams took part in the competition, organised to raise funds for Tetbury Hospital.
A French theme ran throughout the day starting with coffee and croissants, cassoulet for lunch and with lively French music playing.
To add a bit of zip to the day the winners of each round (and everyone else) were given a shot of Pastis.
Local companies Moloh, Jesse Smiths, Café 53, Leopard Press and Vinotopia donated raffle prizes - all to support your local Hospital.
The day was such a success it has been decided to make it an annual event – Vive La France et L’Europe!
