Saint James’ Church, Quedgeley: Help your neighbour – Good Samaritan
THE young and the not so young joined together on Sunday for the monthly family service at Saint James’ Church, Quedgeley.
The theme for the morning’s service was based on the story of The Good Samaritan.
The story was told by Jane Rogers and the children were actively encouraged to participate.
The craft activity led by Emma Price was illustrating story boards from the story of the Good Samaritan.
The young and the not so young joined in enthusiastically.
The service finished with a buffet lunch.
Father John Rector and Parish Priest said: “The monthly services are always popular with the children. They look forward to joining in with the story telling and love to see our puppets. The story boards went down particularly well as did the buffet lunch. We always try and encourage more people to join us and there is a very warm welcome”
