Saint James' Church, Quedgeley: Little Monsters take on Chatterbox
SAINT James’ Chatterbox youngsters welcomed Jake McMahon from Little Monsters Rugby on Tuesday and learnt some tricks of the game.
As part of the holiday session organizer Jackie Hall invited Little Monsters to the Chatterbox session.
Youngsters were enthusiastic and many wore their own rugby sweatshirts in preparation for the games.
Jake introduced youngsters to some of the vital skills of the game – jumping, running and throwing the ball.
It was a fun morning and everyone enjoyed taking part.
Father John Rector and Parish Priest said: “It was certainly something out of the ordinary. The children really enjoyed the morning. Both the older children and younger ones were involved. At Saint James’ we are a family friendly group and welcome the older siblings during the holiday period. I do hope Little Monsters will be able to join us again for another session”.
