Lionesses thriving in Rodborough
WITH the help of a Grow the Game grant from the Football Association, Rodborough Youth Football Club are expanding their ‘Lionesses’ girls teams from one to three.
We are recruiting players in school years 5-9 from the Stroud area for our Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 teams.
We are a friendly, inclusive, FA Standard Charter Club and welcome girls of all ability.
All three teams train on Mondays from 5-6pm on the Stratford Park Astroturf and play matches on Sunday mornings.
We have an open training session that interested girls can watch, or join in with (if so they will need football boots / shin pads / water):
Sunday, September 4, 10am – 12noon, Stratford Court, Stratford Park Rd, Stroud, GL5 4AF
Car parking is at Stratford Park Leisure Centre.
The playing field is directly opposite the leisure centre, on the other side of the main road.
Alternatively they are encouraged to come along and watch or join in with our regular Monday evening training from September 12.
