Nailsworth and District Flower Arrangement Society: The annual members supper
OUR November meeting was the usual annual members supper.
Forty-nine members enjoyed an evening of wine and good food prepared and served by the committee.
The hall and tables were decorated with flowers in yellows oranges and reds which mirrored the wonderful autumn colours of the trees outside.
A competition for the best home-made decorated mask was won by Audrey Jeffries.
There were a good number of entries for the floral competition “A Tapestry in Green” which was won by Nancy Selwyn.
Our evening concluded with members singing enthusiastically to the music of the talented Ukelele band from Stroud.
A truly enjoyable evening was had by all.
Tickets are now selling fast for the “Christmas Open Evening” at Sibly Hall Wycliffe College on Wednesday, December 14.
Cost £10 to include a glass of wine and mince pie.
