Contest prizes for Nailsworth Silver Band
NAILSWORTH Silver Band took part in the Wychavon Festival of Brass on Saturday, September 29.
This was our Musical Director, Ross Salvage's first contest as a conductor.
We came in third place in the Fourth Section, also winning the prizes for Most Entertaining Performance and Best Soloist, flugel horn player Debbie McDougall.
We are looking to continue growing and currently have vacancies on cornet, second trombone and Bb Bass.
Rehearsals take place every Monday 7.15pm-9.15pm at Brewery House, Brewery Lane, Nailsworth.
You can hear the award winning solo and many more at our annual Philip Sawyer charity concert on Sunday, December 10, at Christ Church Nailsworth at 7.30pm.
