Stroud Gardening Club hold their Christmas Social
STROUD Gardening Club held their Christmas Social evening on December 14, and chairperson, Sharon Pellatt welcomed Beth Baker to demonstrate making Christmas Flower Arrangements.
Beth did four different arrangements, containing flowers and evergreens, and talking the audience through every one, and then the arrangements were put into the raffle at the end of the evening.
Sharon thanked Beth for her work, and then invited members to enjoy the party.
Members all brought different dishes for the buffet table, and these were well received, along with the warm ginger punch (non alcoholic), and tea and coffee.
The evening was a huge success, and enjoyed by all.
The raffle was drawn and at the end of the evening, Sharon wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2017.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, when we welcome Robert Bryant speaking on Villa Gardens of the Italian Lakes.
All are welcome to join us at the Bedford Street Congregational Church Rooms at 7.30pm.
