Local film makers win the “Muriel Gray” trophy outright in Gloucester at Gloucester Film Makers
STONEHOUSE and Stroud Video Unit’s film “Are we alone?” produced last summer, see youtu.be/NUjMIRkncZo and on Stroud Community Television, won the “Muriel Gray” trophy outright in Gloucester at Gloucester Film Makers.
The picture shows main film actor, 14 year old Brad Christy with the trophy, scriptwriter and director Mike Szewczuk on the left, with supporting player and film editor Lee Prescott FACI., on the right.
Brad has appeared as the main character in several of our films.
Recently two London agencies expressed an interest in Brad for when he’s older and comes within their licensing arrangements.
Brad is a student at Maidenhill School, Stonehouse.
As an aside, amusing incidents often occur during a shoot.
Some scenes in the film were shot in Standish Woods.
A Labrador dog took exception to Mike creeping about amongst the trees … Mike nearly lost his “equilibrium”!
Watch the film and you’ll see why.
Lee Prescott
