Saint James' Family Service: Are you easily tempted?
‘ARE you easily tempted?’
That was the question asked of youngsters this morning at Saint James’ Family Service.
The theme followed the season of Lent.
The church was full as youngsters enthusiastically joined in with the singing and worship.
The services have been held each month for over two years and numbers have steadily increased.
The craft activity led by Emma Price was making a Tree of Temptation.
Hidden within the tree was a sweet, youngsters were expected to keep it until Easter Sunday.
Father John Rector and Parish Priest said: "Once again it was a fantastic morning and although the weather was dismal it didn’t deter the youngsters and their families from attending this morning. The craft activity and the story always delights the youngsters and our soft play corner with a range of scripture books, colouring and toys aged for the young has become a magnet for many of the children"
