Randwick Gardening Club with Mrs J Dolphin on the making of BBC Two's Gardeners World

RANDWICK Gardening Club held its first meeting of 2017 in the village hall on Tuesday, March 14.

The meeting was opened by the new chairman Mr Stuart Gregory who read out a message of thanks from the retiring chairperson Mrs Iris Perry.

She will still be a committee member.

Stuart welcomed two visitors and reminded members to bring an orchid to be re-potted at the next meeting on care and cultivation of orchids by Mr T Price.

Stuart then introduced Mrs J Dolphin who has run Miserden Nursery for the last year to give a talk on the making of BBC Two's Gardeners World.

Mrs Dolphin is a horticultural researcher and gave a very interesting account of how the film is made which is much more involved than you would think.
