Randwick Gardening Club visit Miserden nursery

ON WEDNESDAY, May 3, Randwick Gardening Club paid a visit to Miserden nursery.

We were welcomed by Mrs Dolphin, who runs the nursery and is a keen researcher into its past.

There is a large variety of perennials, roses and shrubs for sale and a new tea room, which is about to open shortly.

Randwick Gardening Club held its third meeting of 2017 in the village hall on May 9.

The meeting was opened by the chairman Stuart Gregory who made one last request for plants for the Wap stall.

He then introduced Ms K Clowes whose talk was 'These are a few of my Favourite Things'.

Her talk was amusing and informative covering a wide range of plants which were for sale at the end of the evening.

The raffle was won by Iris Perry and Judy Sutton.

The Randwick Wap held on Saturday, May 13, was a great success.

Our sales of plants were an improvement on last year.

Well done to everybody who contributed.
