Royal Forestry Society’s Teaching Trees now in Gloucestershire

Special Offer: First 10 schools to contact Teaching Trees in June and July to be offered one free session each.

The educational charity Royal Forestry Society's successful Teaching Trees project for primary schools has added Gloucestershire to the list of counties it now operates in.

Teaching Trees offers schools two-hour sessions in local woods with a range of creative and fun seasonal activities which closely link the care and management of woods to the national curriculum.

In Gloucestershire, Georgia Spooner, an experienced environmental education officer, primary school teacher and forest school leader, will be leading sessions in local woodlands around Stroud.

Please contact Georgia on 07849 663260 or email georgia.spooner@teachingtrees.org.uk. The Royal Forestry Society asks for £2 donation per child per session, with a special offer of the first 10 schools to contact Teaching Trees in June and July to be offered one free session each.
