Stonehouse Gardening Club with Amanda Godber speaking about the Shape of Gardening in the Future
THE September meeting of the Stonehouse Gardening Club enjoyed a super interactive evening with an enthusiastic organic composter and professional gardener.
Speaking about the Shape of Gardening in the Future, Amanda Godber explored how to not waste what is in your garden.
Spare apples?
Juice them or desiccate them.
Deadheading and weeding?
Shred and then compost the lot in a hot heap apart from bindweed and dock or thistle roots.
Many thanks for an upbeat evening, Amanda!
All are welcome at the next club meeting on Wednesday, October 4, 7.30pm at the Community Centre, when Duncan Coombs will be talking on Pruning Shrubs and their aftercare.
