Stagecoach West support Maggie’s in Cheltenham
STAGECOACH West supported Maggie’s, a cancer support charity in Cheltenham, by providing free transport to their Culture Crawl in Oxford.
Maggie’s provide free practical, emotional and social support from qualified experts to people with cancer and their family and friends.
As the charity is almost entirely funded by voluntary donations, they rely on fundraising days to develop their high quality programme of support.
The team took part in the eight-mile walk, passing Oxford’s iconic landmarks, to raise money for the charity.
Participants will also be treated to cultural performances at each of the several stops, with live music, arts and mouth-watering food.
Anna Mason, Centre Fundraising Manager for Maggie’s in Cheltenham said: “We are very excited for tonight’s event and are extremely thankful to Stagecoach West for the bus, which makes it even easier for visitors, staff and volunteers to join in”.
You can still support Maggie’s by making a donation.
