Woodchester WI with a Sugarcraft Workshop expertly led by Christine Stuart

SPRING was definitely in the air at Woodchester WI’s February meeting.

Amidst much frivolity many primroses, of various shapes and sizes, were produced as members enjoyed a Sugarcraft Workshop expertly (and most patiently) led by Christine Stuart.

Our craft theme continued during the month with our Thursday Craft Afternoon giving us all an opportunity to work at our own projects, whilst sitting together for a good chat; a surprising range of crafts were represented.

Meanwhile, the Reading Group met to discuss ‘I Saw a Man’ by Owen Shears.

The book had met a mixed response and provoked much discussion.

We are now looking forward to our March meeting where we will welcome an expert from Wotton Auction House.

This promises to be a very interesting evening.

Guests are welcome and you do not have to live in the village to join us.

The meeting is at Woodchester Village Hall on Thursday, March 15, at 7.30pm.
