Saint James’ Church, Quedgeley, Joseph’s Rainbow Coat
A PACKED church full of young families and the not so young joined together at Saint James’ Church, Quedgeley, on Sunday for their monthly STJs family worship and praise service.
The theme this month was Joseph and his coat of many colours.
Youngsters were eager to join in the craft, making their own rainbow coats out of gold paper and tissue paper.
Joining in the service were pupils from Field Court Infant Academy who had written some prayers especially for the morning.
The morning ended with the usual free buffet provided by members of the congregation.
Jackie Hall Chair of Governors at Field Court Infant Academy said: "The children were remarkable. They read their prayers without any hesitation. I’m sure all the children enjoyed the craft activity it was so much fun!"
