Eastcombe WI with Colour Me Beautiful
AS SUMMER ramps up, the activity pace within the group shifts up a gear.
Some recent activities included a fun boat trip from Gloucester Quays, with an unusual sighting of the ‘Greater Gloucester Gnomes catching plastic fish for tea’ – one gullible member was fooled by the plastic fish, and remains sceptical of the authenticity of the gnomes!
Members who opted to visit Bayshill Unitarian Church and the Cheltenham Synagogue thoroughly enjoyed the informative and thought provoking presentations and discussions, followed, of course, by a little retail therapy and light refreshment!
Members were reminded of upcoming events:
June 29 - Bisley Group WI's Summer Soiree at The Museum in the Park; July 5 - Book Club meeting; July 24 - day trip to Weston-Super-Mare; July 25 - Lunch Club – not to mention walks, Batik workshop and Croquet taster session.
After a short social break, Members at the meeting were treated to a presentation on colour analysis and style choices and the services provided by Colour Me Beautiful consultants.
