Purvis, 36, charged with attempting to kidnap teenage girl

ADRIAN Purvis, aged 36, formerly of The Bulwarks, Minchinhampton, appeared in court in Preston last Tuesday, June 9, charged with attempting to kidnap a teenage girl. Purvis is charged with taking the 16-year-old by force on January 9 and a further count of sexually touching the girl against her will. He is also charged with attempting to kidnap the same girl that day with the intention of committing a sexual act. Purvis, who appeared at Preston Sessions House, denies all charges. A trial starts on October 19.
