THE sky’s the limit for a local fundraiser who’s now offering aerobatic flights in a bid to raise money.

Mark Wilkins, Fundraising Manager of the Stroud Court Community Trust, is also a qualified pilot, and he’s come up with the idea of combining aerobatics with fundraising, offering a flying experience with a difference.

Mark says: “I like to hire an aeroplane once a month and spend half an hour doing aerobatics. Now I’m offering places for individuals to come with me on a flight which will include: a bird’s eye view of the Cotswolds; at least two loops where you’ll experience at least 4G (four times gravity) and zero G (weightlessness); at least two barrel rolls; and take-off and landing.”

The cost is £100 per flight, all of which will towards the Stroud Court Community Trust Development Fund. The Trust, at Longfords near Minchinhampton, provides home for up to 39 adults living with autism.

Mark says: “If anybody’s interested please get in touch and I’ll add you to my flying trip distribution list and let you know when the next flight is coming up.”
