SCHOOLS across the county could once again face closure after one of Britain's biggest teaching unions voted for strike action.
During its annual conference in Brighton the National Union of Teachers has voted for a strike that could close schools in Gloucestershire in the week beginning June23 if progress is not made in talks with the Government.
The strikes are part of a long-running campaign over teachers' pay and workload.
